Too Cute! Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell Make Their Red Carpet Debut as A Couple

Back in July, a few months after the crazy-intense Vampire Diaries Season 6 finale aired, rumors began circulating that Nina Dobrev was dating Public Morals star Austin Stowell. Although neither of them confirmed nor denied these claims, the gorgeous actors were photographed canoodling in public so many times fans soon started speculating that this was more than just a fun summer fling. And in case anyone had any doubts that things were heating up between them, they even showed up together to Eli Mizrahi’s New York Fashion Party party and were not shy about indulging in a little PDA — at least, judging by this adorable snapshot of them feeding each other cookies with their faces printed on them.

Well, things seem to be getting serious between these lovebirds because they decided to make their relationship red carpet official! Yep, that’s right: Austin invited Nina as his date to the October 4th premiere of his new Steven Spielberg-directed film, Bridge of Spies, which was held at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center as part of the 53rd New York Film Festival. While there, they proceeded to cozy up to another, strike the cutest couple poses ever and mingle with other A-list guests including Tom Hanks, Eve Hewson, Amy Ryan, Jessica Capshaw, and Christy Turlington.

While Austin, who plays Francis Gary Powers in the movie, wore a custom-fit suit, Nina opted for a black-and-red Versace dress that complemented her beau’s dark outfit. Per usual, she stunned:

It certainly seems their romance is off to a great start, and that they’re enjoying each other’s company! Color us not surprised, though; taking into account what Nina told Cosmopolitan during an interview in 2013, Austin is basically her type of guy. The Final Girls beauty confessed to magazine that although she’s attracted to refined men, she can’t resist the “I-just-rolled-out-of-bed, a-little-bit-of-scruff, effortless, not try-hard-but-still sexy” vibe. “You either have chemistry or you don’t, but a lot of what attracts me is a guy’s mind and humor and talent,” she explained. “I need to get to know all those things before I fall for someone. I’m not a one-night-stand kind of girl. I’m a relationship girl.” She added, “I’m progressive in some ways, old-fashioned in others. I like it when guys hold the door open and are sweet and thoughtful.”
